At O’Connells we really love Christmas. Christmas 2009 will be our 11th Christmas.

The buzz gets greater each year as we plan from early summer for those bustling December weeks.

We are traditionalists ....

Holly – Green with shiny Red Berries and of course some carefully guarded Variegated Holly (source un-disclosed)!
Pine Cones are collected each Autumn in Wicklow’s Forests for our Christmas arrangements

Grandma O’Connells Christmas Sherry Trifle is the icing on the cake! Many pounds are gained, and much Sherry consumed each November getting the recipe just right for our Christmas Tasting Lunch in November.

Our new O’Connells has terrific Christmas atmosphere. The cosiness of O’Connells Restaurant; The Conservatory looking out onto the Christmas lit Trees and Palms in The Garden and the innate grandness of The Berkeley Room.

Whether your booking is for two or 122, there is a lovely Christmas feel for you in O’Connells.

Booking Procedure

    •   Firstly, let us say that we are fully flexible to all your requirements – if it can be done generally, we can do it!   Please just ask!
   •   Verbal reservations by phone or emailed reservations will be taken and recorded as tentative reservations. A table will be confirmed for your party on receipt of written confirmation (by letter or by email) and upon receipt of a €125.00 non-refundable deposit.
   •   Table are fully laid-up with Christmas napkins, crackers & a Christmas decoration.
   •   For parties of 10 persons or more, a Wine Order is ideally required in advance, please – this is in the interest of efficient service.
   •   Tables will be reserved before and after in the lounge (if required) for your party.
   •   Mulled Wine will be available each evening at The Bar and in The Lounge.
   •   Printed menus will be provided for each guest with a menu inscription of your choice.
