O’Connells in Donnybrook ... on the way ... opening late Autumn 2010
We are delighted to confirm to-day, August 27th., 2010 that we have signed the lease for our new premises at 133/135 Morehampton Road, Donnybrook, Dublin 4 (on the corner with Belmont Avenue).
Tom O'Connell will be joined by fellow Laois man Chef Lorcan Cribbin in our newly designed kitchens and by long-standing O'Connells Restaurant Manager, Giorgio Cappiello
O'Connells has been listed since 2000 in the "Bridgestone Best In Ireland Guide and in Georgina Campbell's Guides.
We intend to honour the trust that has been placed in us over all those years
Originally located on Merrion Road and from October 2008 on Lansdowne Road, O'Connells is delighted to reach it's goal of a 'high street' premises. We are also very pleased to be moving to one of Dublin's best known villages, Donnybrook.
O'Connells in Donnybrook will have an 80 seat restaurant with a seperate Private Dining Room for up to 80 persons.
We need to carry out quite a bit of internal work to create our kitchens and various areas.
